About the speaker

Tam Hung-man, Alex is a Hong Kong theatre director, set and costume designer, playwright and curator. He is also a guest lecturer at The Education University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Baptist University. His cross-media adaptations of Hong Kong and world literature have toured Asia, Europe and South America, shaping an imaginative and poetic performance language.

Theatre Ronin

Founded in 2006 by Tam Hung-man, Alex, Theatre Ronin centres on “Imagery Theatre,” combining Hong Kong literature and culture with cross-media experimentation. It creates literary theatre, music theatre, physical theatre and theatre films while advancing creative education and international exchange.
