About the organisation

Giak Lai Teochew Puppet

Founded in 2014 by Goh Lih Shan and Goey Paik Wei, this family-based troupe is rooted in traditional Teochew puppetry, music and vocal performance. Through ritual theatre, shared family practice and performance at temple festivals, it transmits knowledge naturally across generations.
